Namig Zahid ogli Mammadov was born in 1957 in Ganja,Azerbaijan. In 1982 graduated Azerbaijan State Art College named after A.Azimzadeh. In 1988 graduated The Lithuanian State Academy of Art in Vilnius, faculty of painting.
·    From 1997 member of the Union of the Artists in Azerbaijan.
·    N.Mammadov began his creative activity in 1983,taking part at the exhibition "The week of creative Young's" with two paintings as "Our Garden" and "Gymnast"
·    An Artist takes part at the regional and international exhibitions.
·    In 1990,1991 years takes part at the exhibitions of Azerbaijan Artists "Tragedy of 20 January" with the paintings "The dance of the war" "Refugees" and others.
·    In 1993 at the state gallery named after S.Bahlulzadeh took place exhibition of the group "7th floor"
·    In 1996 at Baku Art Center took place the personal exhibition of the painter.
·    In 1997 took place personal exhibition of the painter in Norway, Oslo.
·    In 2000 took place personal exhibition of the painter at the gallery named after V. Samedova.
·    In 2001 the painter took part at the symposium of wall painting "Baku-Tbilisi-Djeyhan"
·    In 2003 took place personal exhibition of the painter "Albanian Oratorium"in the hall of union of artists.
·    In 2004 took place personal exhibition of the painter in Norway, Oslo.
·    At the same year he took part at the exhibition of Azerbaijan painters in French senate (Paris) and the biennale Art Caucasus EXPO, Tbilisi.
·    In 2005, 2006, 2007 took part at the exhibitions of Azerbaijan painters at the House of painters in Moscow.
·    In 1997-2007 took part at the international symposiums in Sheki.
·    In 2007 was spent personal exhibition in Denmark, Copenhagen.
·    In 2008 took place personal exhibition at the Center of Contemporary Art in Baku.
·    In 2008 took part at the symposium "Turk soy" In Turkey, he was representative from Azerbaijan.
·    In 2001-2006 years was the chief of Painting At the state Academy of Art. Docent.
·    In 2003 for the series of painting became laureate of "Humay" Premium.
·    In 1997, 2002, 2003 there was series of TV programs devoted to painter, and other programs make by Azerbaijan State television, in 1998,2004,2006,2008 years.
